Abstract

In his commentary Stefan Fuchs, Institut für Demografie, Allgemeinwohl und Familie (IDAF), Sankt Augustin, discusses the objectives of "sustainable family policy" and the paradigm change to a model of mothers who work full-time, or at least almost full-time. He focuses on the question of a correlation between the number of women in the workforce and birth rates.
