Westdeutsche Industrie: 2010 geringer Investitionsanstieg

Abstract

Die schlechte konjunkturelle Lage, insbesondere die schwache Nachfrage und die stark gesunkene Kapazitätsauslastung, hat die Investitionsbereitschaft der westdeutschen Industrieunternehmen in diesem Jahr deutlich gedämpft. Nach den Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests dürften die Bruttoanlageinvestitionen 2009 von rund 36,5 Mrd. € um gut 22% unter dem Niveau von 2008 liegen. Für 2010 ist nur mit einer leichten Verbesserung des Investitionsklimas zu rechnen. So zeichnet sich nach dem derzeitigen Planungsstand der Unternehmen ein geringer Anstieg der Investitionen um knapp 2% ab. Differenziert man die Investitionspläne nach Größenklassen, so zeigt sich, dass in erster Linie die großen Unternehmen ihre Investitionen 2010 wieder aufstocken wollen, während die kleinen Unternehmen weitere Kürzungen geplant haben. Angesichts der derzeit niedrigen Kapazitätsauslastung überrascht es nicht, dass die Erweiterung als Investitionsmotiv spürbar an Bedeutung verloren hat und an die zweite Stelle gerückt ist. Das Hauptmotiv der Investitionstätigkeit sind nun die Ersatzbeschaffungen.
