Westdeutsche Industrie: Trotz konjunktureller Eintrübung weiteres Investitionsplus geplant

Nach den Ergebnissen der aktuellen Investitionserhebung haben die Industrieunternehmen in Westdeutschland ihre Investitionen 2007 deutlich erhöht. Mit 43 Mrd. € lag das Investitionsniveau (nominal und real) gut 10% über dem von 2006. Der Investitionsanstieg war breit angelegt. Die meisten Branchen erhöhten ihre Investitionen, nur vereinzelt kam es zu Kürzungen gegenüber 2006. Trotz der vermehrten Anzeichen für eine konjunkturelle Eintrübung werden nach dem derzeitigen Planungsstand die Investitionen im westdeutschen verarbeitenden Gewerbe 2008 nochmals zunehmen. Die Meldungen der Unternehmen ergaben für 2008 einen Investitionsanstieg von (nominal und real) knapp 9%. Wie die aktuellen Erhebungsergebnisse zeigen, beabsichtigen die Unternehmen mit ihren Investitionen in erster Linie, das bestehende Produktionsprogramm zu erweitern bzw. zu verändern. An zweiter Stelle stehen Ersatzbeschaffungen, während das Rationalisierungsmotiv weiter an Bedeutung verloren hat.
