Industrie in Deutschland weiterhin sehr wettbewerbsfähig

Die hohe Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des verarbeitenden Gewerbes in Deutschland belegen nicht nur "harte" Daten wie ein Vergleich der internationalen Trends von Lohnstückkosten, sondern auch aktuelle Ergebnisse einer Sonderbefragung zum Thema Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im Rahmen des ifo Konjunkturtests, die im Auftrag der EU-Kommission vom ifo Institut durchgeführt wurde. Die Befragung zeigte, dass die deutschen Industrieunternehmen nach eigenen Angaben ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit seit 2000 stärker ausbauen konnten als im Durchschnitt der Europäischen Union und insbesondere auch als in Frankreich und Italien. Differenziert nach Einzelbranchen bauten in den letzten Jahren der Fahrzeugbau und die Bekleidungsindustrie ihre Wettbewerbsposition am erfolgreichsten aus.
