Ifo Architects Survey: stagnation in order stocks

Author

Listed:
  • Erich Gluch

Abstract

According to the latest results of the Ifo Institute's quarterly survey of independent architects, the business climate at the beginning of the third quarter of 2007 remained unchanged over the previous quarter. The surveyed architects assessed their current business situation somewhat more favourably than in the previous quarter, but they were more cautious in their appraisal of the business outlook than they were three months ago. The share of architects that expect a somewhat better order situation in the course of the next six months fell slightly from 12 to 11 percent. More than a fifth anticipate a more negative order situation.
