Abstract

According to the results of the latest Ifo Business Survey, the credit climate for the manufacturing industry has clearly improved. The credit institutes have continued to relax their lending principles since August 2005. The assessments of businesses regarding borrowing opportunities continue to be negative on the whole, but the share of firms reporting negative experience is decreasing continuously.
