Die neue Spielverordnung konterkariert in der Anfangsphase die mit ihr verfolgten Ziele

Seit einigen Jahren wird an einer neuen Spielverordnung für die Unterhaltungsautomatenwirtschaft gearbeitet. Der politische Willensbildungsprozess zog sich bis Ende 2005 hin. Letzte Änderungen wurden Mitte Oktober verfügt. Besonders problematisch stellt sich für die Branche das unmittelbare Verbot von Fun-Games dar, da es ohne eine Übergangsregelung in Kraft tritt. Der notwendige Kapazitätsabbau bei Fun-Games kann, da gegenwärtig noch keine auf der neuen Spielverordnung basierende Geldgewinnspielgeräte angeboten werden können, durch den Einsatz von Geräten der neuen Generation auch nicht teilweise kompensiert werden. Mit einer Modellrechnung wird gezeigt, dass Unternehmen der Branche in die Verlustzone geraten und Arbeitskräfte entlassen müssen.
