Digital photography: Sales boom and drastic price collapse

Abstract

The amateur photography market has a special standing in the consumer good markets in Germany, most of which are marked by stagnation or contraction. Digital photography is the engine of lively demand with double-digit annual growth rates. The growth may well decrease in the coming years, but in 2005 a considerable sales plus, on a quantity basis, can be still be expected.
