Griechenland: Deutliche Konjunkturabschwächung nach Olympiaboom

Registered author(s):

    Nach einem sehr dynamischen ersten Quartal und anschließender Schwächephase hat in Griechenland 2003 die Konjunktur kräftig an Schwung gewonnen. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt nahm nach vorläufigen Berechnungen um 4,2% zu. Die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt hat sich - bei stetig zunehmender Beschäftigung, aber infolge unverändert kräftiger Einwanderung wenig veränderter Arbeitslosenquote (9,3% im Jahresdurchschnitt) - weiter verbessert. Der Preisanstieg ließ etwas nach und lag bei etwa 3,4%. Dieses Jahr dürfte das BIP um 4¼% wachsen. Die Arbeitslosenquote wird im Jahresdurchschnitt auf 8½% sinken. Die Preiserhöhung wird 3¾ betragen. 2005 dürfte das BIP um 3% expandieren, die Arbeitslosenquote wird auf knapp 8¼% fallen, und die Konsumentenpreise werden um 3¾% steigen.
