Strukturwandel als Tagesgeschäft - eine weitere Zwischenbilanz zur Entwicklung des Bekleidungsgewerbes

    Seit den siebziger Jahren unterliegt die Bekleidungsindustrie einem dauerhaften Strukturwandel. Die im internationalen Vergleich hohen Produktionskosten zwingen die Unternehmen vornehmlich zu Produktionsverlagerungen ins Ausland, so dass im Verlauf der letzten Jahre die Marketing- und Vermittlerfunktion wichtiger wurdeals die Fähigkeit, Bekleidung selbst herzustellen. Die Mehrzahl der Bekleidungsunternehmen versteht sich inzwischen auch weniger als Produzent, denn im Inland verbleibt in der Regel nur eine Restfertigung zur Abwicklung von Schnell- und Sonderaufträgen, die Lagerhaltung und Logistik sowie eine Kernfertigung zur Vorbereitung und Unterstützung der Auslandsproduktion und des Verkaufs.
