Spedition und Logistik: Trotz schwacher Wirtschaftskonjunktur nach wie vor ein Wachstumsmarkt

Abstract

2001 dämpfte die schwache Konjunktur auch die Nachfrage nach Verkehrsleistungen. Insbesondere wurde sie von der Baurezession gebremst. Zudem kam es infolge der Terroranschläge vom 11. September 2001 zu gravierenden Einbrüchen. Insgesamt sanken 2001 sowohl das Transportaufkommen als auch die -Leistung im Inland um rund 2,5%. Die grenzüberschreitenden Transporte übertrafen aber das Vorjahresniveau um gut 1%. Seit Anfang 2002 beleben sich die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Aktivitäten wieder, und der Konjunkturaufschwung wird auch die Nachfrage nach Verkehrsleistungen begünstigen, so dass die Branche wiederum ein moderates Umsatzwachstum erwarten kann.
