Westeuropa 2001: Konjunktur auf Potentialpfad

In Westeuropa hat sich der kräftige Wirtschaftsaufschwung bis zum Sommer 2000 fortgesetzt. Anschließend verlangsamte er sich etwas. Diese Entwicklung wird sich dieses Jahr fortsetzen. 2001 dürfte das reale BIP um etwa 2,6% zunehmen, die Arbeitslosenquote auf etwa 7 1/2 % zurückgehen und die Konsumentenpreise im Jahresdurchschnitt um 2% steigen.
