Citizens of Central and Eastern Europe in west Germany

Abstract

Germany has so far been the most important destination for migration from Central and Eastern Europe. Since the decisions behind labour migration are also influenced by existing networks in the host countries, Germany can expect the largest migration after EU expansion in Eastern Europe.
