Gaswirtschaft investiert wieder mehr

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen der gemeinsam vom Bundesverband der deutschen Gas- und Wasserwirtschaft (BGW) und dem ifo Institut durchgeführten Investitionsumfrage gaben die Unternehmen der öffentlichen Gasversorgung 1998 rund 4,8 Mrd. DM für Investitionen aus, das waren um 10% weniger als 1997 und auch erheblich weniger, als die 1998 gemeldeten Pläne erwarten ließen. Für 1999 haben die Gasversorgungsunternehmen (GVU) mit 13% (auf 5,4 Mrd. DM) zwar wieder eine beachtliche Steigerung geplant, sie beschränkt sich allerdings auf die alten Bundesländer, die ostdeutschen GVU haben Kürzungen vorgesehen. Die ebenfalls erfragten Investitionspläne für die Jahre 2000 bis 2002 deuten darauf hin, daß sich das Investitionsniveau bei etwas über 4 Mrd. DM einpendeln wird, wobei der Anteil Ostdeutschlands, der 1994 noch fast 30% erreichte, sukzessive auf 10% sinken dürfte.
