Dynamischstes Feld der IuK-Anwendung : das Internet; Ergebnisse einer empirischen Studie zur Diffusion von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik

Abstract

In der zweiten Jahreshälfte 1997 hat das ifo Institut zwei Unternehmensbefragungen zur Nutzung vernetzter Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik (IuK) durchgeführt. Über einige Ergebnisse der Erhebungen wurde bereits im Januar und Mai berichtet. Der abschließende dritte Teil befaßt sich nun mit der Verbreitung und Nutzung des Internet in deutschen Unternehmen und geht der Frage nach, inwieweit kleine und mittlere Unternehmen auf dem Weg in die Informationsgesellschaft unterstützt werden sollten. Zum Zeitpunkt der Befragung war knapp ein Drittel der Unternehmen mit einer eigenen Homepage im Internet vertreten, jedoch wickelten erst gut 3% der Unternehmen WWW-basierte Geschäfte ab.
