Tschechien : außenwirtschaftliches Gleichgewicht verbessert, aber Rezession verstärkt sich

Abstract

Als das Statistische Hauptamt in Prag (CSU) Mitte September die neuesten wirtschaftlichen Eckdaten veröffentlichte, war die Ernüchterung in Tschechien groß. Nach dem Rückgang des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts im ersten Halbjahr 1998 (-1,7%) rechnet das CSU für 1998 jetzt bestenfalls mit Nullwachstum, wahrscheinlicher ist jedoch eine Abnahme der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Leistung. Damit müssen wohl auch die Prognosen für 1999 (BIP-Wachstum: 3,5 bis 4%) nach unten korrigiert werden. Die Experten, die erst für das Jahr 2000 eine Revitalisierung der tschechischen Wirtschaft prognostizieren, dürften bestätigt werden.
