Leasing in Deutschland: beachtliche Marktanteilsgewinne

Abstract

Das Neugeschäft der Leasingbranche expandierte 1996 wesentlich stärker als die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Investitionen. Wie die jüngste Erhebung des ifo Institutes bei den deutschen Leasinggesellschaften zeigt, wuchsen die Leasinginvestitionen 1996 um 13,2%, für 1997 ist ein Plus von 3,9% zu erwarten. Die Leasingquote erhöhte sich 1996 von 11,8% auf 13,6%, so stark wie noch nie in den letzten 35 Jahren; im laufenden Jahr steigt sie auf 14,1%. Während 1996 vor allem Big Tickets wie Immobilien, Flugzeuge und Schienenfahrzeuge die Wachstumsmotoren waren, ist 1997 das Immobilien-Leasing rückläufig, und das Mobilien-Leasing wächst kräftig, insbesondere bei Straßenfahrzeugen. Im Zuge der für 1998 erwarteten Belebung der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Käufe von Ausrüstungsgütern dürfte die Leasingbranche weiter auf Wachstumskurs bleiben.
