Öffentliche Wasserversorgung : Verbrauch sinkt - Investitionen steigen

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen der im Frühjahr gemeinsam vom Bundesverband der deutschen Gas- und Wasserwirtschaft und dem ifo Institut durchgeführten Erhebung haben die deutschen Wasserwerke 1996 ihre Bruttoanlageinvestitionen um rund 2% auf 4345 Millionen DM gekürzt. Der Anteil Ostdeutschlands am Investitionsvolumen war - gemessen an der Kundenzahl - mit 30% überproportional hoch. Am stärksten aufgestockt wurden die Budgets für Wasserspeicher, mit 63% der gesamten Investitionen beanspruchte aber wieder der Netzbereich die meisten Mittel. 1997 dürfte das Ausgabenniveau um gut ein Zehntel auf nahezu 5 Milliarden DM angehoben worden sein.
