Steueraufkommen 1997 : das zweite Halbjahr muß es bringen

Abstract

Der Arbeitskreis "Steuerschätzungen" kam bei seiner letzten Sitzung im Mai zu dem Ergebnis, daß das Steueraufkommen 1997 deutlich niedriger sein wird, als im letzten Jahr prognostiziert worden war. Inzwischen liegen die Kassenergebnisse für das erste Halbjahr 1997 weitgehend vor. Das Aufkommen einiger Steuern, insbesondere der veranlagten Einkommensteuer und der Körperschaftssteuer, entwickelte sich enttäuschend. Obwohl bei den Steuern, bei denen aufkommensdämpfende Sonderfaktoren wegfallen oder Steuererhöhungen greifen, im zweiten Halbjahr mit einem deutlichen Anstieg zu rechnen ist, dürfte es aus heutiger Sicht schwierig sein, das Schätzergebnis des Arbeitskreises für 1997 zu erreichen.
