Investitionen im ostdeutschen Baugewerbe : seit 1994 Abstieg vom Gipfel, 1995 steil bergab, 1996 kaum gebremstes Abrutschen

Abstract

Im ostdeutschen Baugewerbe setzten sich - von einzelnen Sonderentwicklungen abgesehen - im Verlauf des Jahres 1996 die rezessiven Einflüsse durch. Die Investitionsentwicklung im ostdeutschen Baugewerbe nahm diese Perspektive schon 1995 vorweg. Nach enormen Aufbauanstrengungen mit hohen Investitionen ab 1991 begann 1994 der Abstieg vom Gipfel (1993 investierten das Bauhaupt- und Ausbaugewerbe zusammen 4,2 Mrd. DM). Nach noch gut 4 Mrd. DM 1994 setzte 1995 ein kräftiger Rückgang (um 30 %) auf 2,8 Mrd. DM ein, für das laufende Jahr wird eine nur wenig gebremste rückläufige Entwicklung (hochgerechnete Investitionssummee 2,1 Mrd. DM) erwartet. Die Aufbauaktivitäten hatten in so hohem Maße zugleich eingesetzt, daß auch bei weiterem spürbaren Wachstum der Bauproduktion eine "Normalisierung" der Investitionstätigkeit, d.h. ein deutliches Absinken der Investitionssumme, zu erwarten gewesen wäre. Da der Weg vom (Investitions-)Gipfel aber in den Jahren 1995 und 1996 so weit hinabführte, kann jetzt spekuliert werden, daß im Frühjahr 1997 ein (Investitions-)Plateau erreicht wird - obwohl die Bauproduktion in Ostdeutschland im nächsten Jahr weiter sinken wird.
