Strukturveränderungen im bayerischen Handel

Abstract

Das Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Technologie hat das ifo Institut beauftragt, Strukturen und Entwicklungen des Handels in Bayern umfassend zu analysieren und im Zusammenhang mit der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung im Freistaat darzustellen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit sollte den kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen und ihrer Wettbewerbssituation geschenkt werden. Neben amtlichen statistischen Quellen, dienten Expertengesprächen und verschiedene Geschäftsberichte als Datenbasis der empirischen Untersuchung. Für die Untersuchung des Groß- und Einzelhandels wurden 1994 und 1995 rund 4500 Unternehmen aus allen Branchen und allen bayerischen Regionen schriftlich befragt, um einen vertieften Einblick in ihre Unternehmensstrukturen, Leistungsangebote, ihre Wettbewerbssituation und strategische Ausrichtung zu erhalten.
