Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern : deutliche Anzeichen einer Abschwächung ; neue Ergebnisse der ifo Investitionsrechnung Ost

Abstract

Schätzungen auf der Basis der ifo Investorenrechnung ergeben, daß die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern 1996 etwa 207 Mrd. DM erreichen werden, das wären rund 5 % mehr als 1995. Das Investitionswachstum wird zunehmend nur noch von den Dienstleistungsbereichen getragen. Die Investitionen des Produzierenden Gewerbes dürften etwa auf dem Niveau von 1995 stagnieren. Erste Schätzungen für 1997 sprechen dafür, daß die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Investitionen in Ostdeutschland nicht weiter steigen werden. Im verarbeitenden Gewerbe ist sogar ein deutlicher Rückgang nicht auszuschließen.
