Welthandel mit High-Tech-Produkten

Abstract

Der Bericht beschreibt die Entwicklungen des Welthandels mit High-Tech-Produkten (HTP). Im Rahmen einer Studie sollte die Bedeutung des HTP-Handels im Bereich des Industriegüterhandels und des Gesamthandels geprüft werden sowie die Veränderung der Positionen der EU, der EFTA und die Entwicklungsdynamik einzelner High-Tech-Bereiche analysiert werden. Insgesamt wurde festgestellt, daß der High-Tech-Handel an Bedeutung gewinnt. Dabei nimmt der Elektronik-Bereich mit zwischen 60 bis 80 % des gesamten HTP-Imports eine wesentliche Stellung ein. Die Europäische Union ist zwar ein sehr potenter Partner im HTP-Welthandel, jedoch deutlich übertroffen in der Dynamik der anderen Partner. Es ist allerdings zu beachten, daß der Intrahandel der Europäischen Union intensiviert wurde und somit die Exportschwäche der EU relativiert wird. Innerhalb der EU sind Frankreich, die Niederlande und Irland die Länder mit Exportüberschüssen in der Handelsbilanz. Der deutsche HTP-Außenhandel war durch hohe Einfuhrüberschüsse charakterisiert.
