Weltrohstoffpreise 1996/97

Abstract

Die Arbeitsgruppe Rohstoffe der Vereinigung Europäischer Konjunkturforschungsinstitute hat sich mit der Entwicklung der internationalen Rohstoffpreise befaßt und Preisprognosen bis Mitte 1997 erarbeitet. Unter der Annahme, daß das reale Bruttosozialprodukt in den westlichen Industrieländern 1995 um etwa 2,4% und bis Mitte 1997 um etwa 2% wächst, die Expansion des Welthandels sich etwas verlangsamt, der US-Dollar sich kaum aufwertet und die Inflationsrate auf unter 3% sinkt, rechnet die Gruppe für 1996 mit einer Verteuerung nicht-energetischer Rohstoffe um 2% (1995: +14%); unter Einschluß der Energierohstoffe ergibt sich ebenfalls eine Rate von 2% (1995: +10%). Auch die Preise einzelner Rohstoffe werden prognostiziert. Insgesamt wird von einer Ausweitung des Angebots im Bereich der Industrie- und Energierohstoffe in den nächsten Jahren ausgegangen.
