Graphoskopie : deutlich verlangsamter Produktionszuwachs ; die westdeutsche Industrie erwartet bis Ende 1996 eine moderate Aufwärtsentwicklung

Abstract

Die Produktion in der verarbeitenden Industrie Westdeutschlands wächst - nach der Einschätzung der Umfrageteilnehmer mit dem Instrument der Graphoskopie - ab Herbst 1995 spürbar verlangsamt. Die saisonbereinigt-geglätteten Indexwerte dürften im Verlauf des Jahres 1996 das bisherige Maximum von Anfang 1992 nur knapp erreichen. Recht unterschiedliche Erwartungen für die verschiedenen Branchen ergeben kumuliert zur Produktionsentwicklung (saisonbereinigt-geglättet) des verarbeitenden Gewerbes im dritten Quartal 1995 eine Wachstumsdelle, dann wieder eine leichte Beschleunigung. Ab Frühjahr 1996 wird nur noch ein verlangsamter weiterer Anstieg erwartet. Die aus den Verläufen berechneten Jahresveränderungsraten liegen infolge des Überhangeffekts aus dem sprunghaften Wachstum in Teilen des Jahres 1994 in diesem Jahr wesentlich höher als 1996. Falls die Einschätzungen zutreffen, wird im Jahresdurchschnitt 1996 - nach einem Plus von über 5 % in diesem Jahr - nur noch ein Zuwachs von gut 2 % gegenüber dem (jeweiligen) Vorjahr erreicht.
