Flächensparendes und kostensenkendes Bauen

Abstract

Israel hat sich zu einer regionalen Wirtschaftsmacht mit Handelsbeziehungen hauptsächlich zu Westeuropa und den USA entwickelt. Die Kooperationsbestrebungen der arabischen Länder untereinander zeigen bisher nur sehr begrenzte Erfolge. Der mit dem Gaza-Jericho-Abkommen vom September 1993 eingeleitete Friedensprozeß hat das Bewußtsein um die Notwendigkeit nicht nur internationaler, sondern auch regionaler Zusammenarbeit deutlich gestärkt. Die Schätzungen des regionalen Handelspotentials, die das ifo Institut im Auftrag des Bundeswirtschaftsministeriums durchgeführt hat, ergeben, daß durchaus nicht mit einer israelischen Exportflut in die Region und vor allem auch nicht mit einem erheblichen bilateralen Handelsbilanzüberschuß Israels zu rechnen ist. Bei voller Ausschöpfung des Potentials stehen Ausfuhren von etwa 1,5 Mrd. $ Einfuhren aus der Region von etwa 1,3 Mrd. $ gegenüber.
