Wachstumszentren in Bayern : Rückkehr zu räumlichen Entwicklungsmustern früherer Jahre

Abstract

Der Bevölkerungszuwachs in Bayern betrug 1993 insgesamt 0,8% und hat sich damit im Vergleich zu 1991 (2,3%) und 1992 (1,5%) wieder normalisiert, was auf eine Abschwächung der Zuwanderung zurückzuführen ist. Durch die deutsche Vereinigung erfolgte ein bayernweiter Wachstumsschub. Die Beschäftigung nahm nach 1,7% im Jahre 1989 in den beiden folgenden Jahren um 3,5% und 3,7% zu. Der Beschäftigungszuwachs verminderte sich auf 1,6% im Jahre 1992 und auf 1,4% im Jahre 1993. Der Artikel gibt eine Aufstellung der Beschäftigungsentwicklung in den einzelnen Regierungsbezirken Bayerns. Der Frage nach der Entwicklung der sektoralen Spezialisierung der Regionen wird mit Hilfe der Analyse von Standortkoeffizienten (Verhältnis des Beschäftigtenanteils einer Branche in einer Region zum Anteil dieser Branche in Bayern) nachgegangen. Insgesamt zeigt sich im Zeitraum 1985-1993, daß eine Spezialisierung der Regionen nur beim verarbeitenden Gewerbe, nicht beim Baugewerbe und den Dienstleistungen vorliegt. Hier gibt der Artikel Aufschluß über einzelne Branchen. Außerdem werden Fragen der räumlichen Verteilung der Bruttolohn- und -gehaltsumme am Beispiel des verarbeitenden Gewerbes behandelt.
