Erdgas erringt weitere Anteile am Energiemarkt - Investitionen weiter auf hohem Niveau

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen der im Frühjahr 1994 gemeinsam vom Bundesverband der deutschen Gas- und Wasserwirtschaft und dem ifo Institut durchgeführten Investitionsbefragung haben die westdeutschen GVU (Gasversorgungsunternehmen) 1993 mit 6,1 Mrd. DM etwas weniger investiert als im Vorjahr und deutlich weniger als im Frühjar 1993 geplant, ein Teil der Projekte wurde also offensichtlich verschoben. Die Pläne für 1994 deuten auf eine Stabilisierung des Investitionsniveaus bei 6,1 Mrd. DM hin. In den neuen Ländern haben die GVU dagegen 1993 mit 2,44 Mrd. mehr ausgegeben als vor einem Jahr erwartet. 1994 dürften die Investitionen knapp 1,9 Mrd. DM erreichen. Für die folgenden Jahre sind sowohl in West- als auch in Ostdeutschland weitere Einschränkungen vorgesehen.
