Südafrika : nach Aufhebung der Sanktionen rasch wachsender Afrikahandel

Abstract

Der Bericht informiert über die Entwicklung des Außenhandels Südafrikas seit der Aufhebung der Sanktionen und stellt die derzeitige Lage dar. Man kann davon ausgehen, daß in Zukunft der Außenhandel in Südafrika weiter ansteigen wird, da viele Investoren sich dort ansiedeln um von dort aus auf dem schwarzen Kontinent Wirtschaftsbeziehungen aufzubauen. Gerade die regionale Kooperationen, die in der SACU, der südafrikanischen Zollunion organisiert sind, haben ein großes Wachstumspotential. Insgesamt kann Südafrika einen hohen Exportüberschuß aufweisen. Länder wie Angola, Malawi, Mosambik, Tansania, Sambia und Simbabwe, die der Zollunion angehören, haben wesentlich größere Bedeutung als das übrige Afrika. Die Vorteile Südafrikas sind die Marktnähe, kurze Lieferzeiten, gute Qualität und günstige Preise. Gerade Produkte die vormals aus der Europäischen Union bezogen wurden, werden jetzt in Südafrika bestellt.
