Abstract

Der Bericht faßt die Ergebnisse der EUROCONSTRUCT-Konferenz vom 14. und 15. Juni 1994 zusammen. Dabei wurde festgestellt, daß der Rückgang der Bauproduktion in Westeuropa zum Stillstand gekommen ist. Beim Wohnungsneubau ging die Quote um 1 % zurück. Der Neubau von Wirtschaftsgebäuden registrierte 1993 ein Rückgang um reichlich 12 %. Durch die europaweite Staatsverschuldung ließ der Neubau von öffentlichen Gebäuden weiter stark nach. Auch beim Tiefbau wurden unerwartete Rückgänge verbucht. Die Struktur der Bauproduktion in Westeuropa 1993 zeigt, daß 33 % Bestandsmaßnahmen bei Hochbauten, 25 % Wohnungsneubauten, 21 % Tiefbau, 15 % Wirtschaftshochbau und 6 % öffentlicher Hochbau einnahmen. Der Bericht analysiert die Bauproduktionerwartungen aller Länder Westeuropas bis 1995. Dabei wird deutlich, daß sich die Bauproduktion 1991 um -0,1 % veränderte. 1992 waren es - 0,2 % und im Folgejahr -4,0 % reale Veränderung zum Vorjahr. Für 1994 wird lediglich eine Veränderungsrate von -0,1 % erwartet. Im Jahr 1995 wird die Konjunktur besonders im gewerblichen Baubereich die Produktionzahlen erhöhen, so daß für die gesamte Bauproduktion eine Veränderung von 1,9 % erwartet wird.
