Westdeutsche Industrieunternehmen : längerfristige Pläne überwiegend optimistisch

Abstract

Der Bericht faßt die Ergebnisse der "Prognose 100" Umfrage vom ersten Quartal 1994 zusammen. Insgeamt wurde festgestellt, daß die längerfristigen Pläne der westdeutschen Industrieunternehmen überwiegend optimistisch ausfallen. Untersucht wurden die Pläne und Erwartungen bei der Beschäftigung, dem Umsatz und den Investitionen bis 1998. Die Bereiche der Umfrage waren das Grundstoff- und Produktionsgütergewerbe, Investitions-, Verbrauchsgüter- sowie das Nahrungs- und Genußmittelgewerbe. Die Beschäftigtenzahl wird bis 1995 noch leicht abnehmen und dann auf einem Niveau von 85 Indexpunkten bis 1998 verbleiben (1992=100). Am Ende des Prognosezeitraums werden die Investitionen das Niveau von 1992 erreichen, nachdem sie 1993 auf 83 Indexpunkte stark gesunken sind. Bei den Umsätzen werden starke Zuwächse erwartet. Die inländische Produktionsstätten bleiben gegenüber den ausländischen Standorten relativ zurück. Im Ausland wird ein langsamer Beschäftigungsabbau geplant, gleichzeitig verschieben sich Investitionen und Realumsätze wesentlich häufiger zugunsten der Standorte außerhalb Deutschland als umgekehrt.
