Westdeutsche Bauwirtschaft : deutlicher Rückgang der Investitionen

Abstract

Der Bericht faßt die Ergebnisse des ifo Investitionstests März/April 1994 zur Entwicklung der Investitionen zusammen. Die Aggregation der rund 400 beteiligten Unternehmen ergab, daß 1993 die Investitionen real um 11 % zurückgegangen sind. Dieser erste Rückgang seit fünf Jahren fiel durch die positive Entwicklung im Wohnungsbau wesentlich moderater aus, als in vergleichbaren Konjunkturzyklen. Die Bauproduktion lag 1993 real um 0,5 % unter dem Vorjahresvolumen. Die nominalen Bruttoanlageinvestitionen reduzierten sich um 10 % auf 6.525 Mill. DM. Das Hauptziel der Investitionen war mit 55 % die Ersatzbeschaffung, gefolgt von Rationalisierungszeilen (25 %) und 20 % Kapazitätserweiterungen. 1994 wird mit 8 % Kapazitätserweiterungen, 43 % Rationalsierungsmaßnahmen und 49 % Ersatzbeschaffungen gerechnet. Die Investitionstendenz 1994 nimmt weiter ab, da 56 % der Unternehmen weniger investieren und nur 16 % mehr (Saldo: -40). 1993 betrug der Saldo lediglich -7 Prozentpunkte. Dadurch ergibt sich eine erneute Reduzierung des Investitionsvolumen von etwa 10 % im Jahr 1994.
