Weltkonjunktur : Erholung setzt sich fort ; Ergebnisse des ifo Konjunkturtest International

Abstract

Im April 1994 wurde zum 44. Mal die weltweite Umfrage "ifo Konjunkturtest International" bei knapp 500 Wirtschaftsexperten multinationaler Unternehmen und kopetenter Institutionen durchgeführt. Der Bericht faßt die Ergebnisse dieser Umfrage zusammen. Global wurde festgestellt, daß sich die Erholung der Weltkonjunktur weiter fortsetzt. Besonders in den USA, Westeuropa, Japan, Lateinamerika und im asiatisch-pazifischem Raum wurde ein kraftvoller Konjunkturaufschwung verzeichnet. Im Durchschnitt aller 66 Länder hat sich das Investitions-, Konsum- und Weltwirtschaftsklima deutlich verbessert. Auch die wirtschaftliche Lage, das Außenhandelsvolumen und die kurzfristigen Zinsen unterstützen insgesamt die positive Entwicklung. Für die kommenden 6 Monate wird weltweit mit stabilen Inflationsquoten gerechnet. In den osteuropäischen Ländern, besonders in Rußland, werden allerdings Hyperinflationen vorherrschen. Für 1994 sind die Aussichten für das Wirtschaftswachstum in Osteuropa zum erstenmal positiv. Im Durchschnitt der befragten Länder wird für 1994 mit einer Zunahme des realen Bruttosozialprodukts von 2,2 % gerechnet. Hauptproblem der Weltwirtschaft sind unverändert die Arbeitslosigkeit und das Budgetdefizit.
