Verbreitung der betrieblichen Altersversorgung nimmt ab

Abstract

Im Sommer 1993 wurde die sechste Erhebung zur Situation und Entwicklung der betrieblichen Altersversorgung in Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen der alten Bundesländer durchgeführt. Die Erhebung diente der Ermittlung statistischer Daten über die Verbreitung der betrieblichen Altersversorgung, über Umfang, Art und Gründe für Leistungsbeschränkungen sowie der Feststellung von Neueinführungen und Leistungsverbesserungen. Weiterhin wurde der Stand der Unverfallbarkeit von Versorgungsanwartschaften von Arbeitnehmern mit betrieblicher Altersversorgung, die im Kalenderjahr 1992 vor Eintritt des Versorgungsfalles aus ihrem Unternehmen ausgeschieden sind erhoben. Zudem wurde untersucht, ob Frauen durch die derzeitigen Unverfallbarkeitsregelungen benachteiligt werden. Die Ergebnisse der ifo Erhebung zeigt, daß die Attraktivität der betrieblichen Altersversorgung für die Unternehmen nachgelassen hat. Einer der Gründe ist die Verschlechterung der wirtschaftlichen Daten. Für eine Ausdehnung der betrieblichen Altersversorgung müssen insgesamt bessere Rahmenbedingungen geschaffen werden.
