Wirtschaftsinformationen auf CD-ROM : die WISO II

Abstract

Mit der CD-ROM WISO II sind die Datenbanken der Bibliotheken bzw. Informationszentren von drei großen deutschen Wirtschaftsforschungsinstituten,dem HWWA-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, Hamburg, dem Institut für Weltwirtschaft an der Universität Kiel und dem ifo Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, München, auf einem Medium gemeinsam abfragbar. Das Projekt, das die Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitute gemeinsam mit der Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaftliche Information (München) erarbeitet haben, gestattet dem Nutzer, über 500.000 Literaturnachweise zu den Wirtschaftswissenschaften sowie zur Wirtschaftspraxis zu recherchieren. WISO II erschließt demnach große Teile des in Deutschland vorhandenen Wirtschafts-Know-how. Im einzelnen enthält die CD-ROM folgende Datenbanken: ECONIS (Economics Information System), HWWA Wirtschaftsdatenbank für Wissenschaft und Praxis, ifo Literaturdatenbank, ifo Osteuropadokumentation und den Katalog der ifo Bibliothek.
