Abstract

Die ökonomische Bedeutung des Bausektors, seine ausgeprägte Konjunkturzyklik, Spezifika der Leistungserstellung und Abrechnung sowie insbesondere die kleinbetriebliche Struktur der Unternehmen lassen einen hohen Bedarf an Beratungsleistungen in diesem Wirtschaftszweig erwarten. Die Studie umfaßt eine breitangelegte Analyse des Standes und der Perspektiven von Unternehmensberatung im Bausektor, sowie Empfehlungen zur Verbesserung des Angebots bzw. zur Steigerung der Effizienz von Beratungsleistungen. Gegenseitige Vorurteile bei Unternehmensberatern und mittelständischen Bauunternehmen sind weit verbreitet. Einerseits wird den Bauunternehmern Ignoranz und Desinteresse gegenüber den Beratungsleistungen attestiert. Andererseits wird den Beratungsorganisationen zu geringe Praxisnähe vorgeworfen, so daß den hohen Kosten kein wirtschaftlicher Nutzen gegenüber steht. Insbesondere Unternehmen in Ostdeutschland sehen Beratungen sehr skeptisch an, da ihre Unerfahrenheit von schlechten Beratungsfirmen ausgenutzt wurde. Allgemein wird den Unternehmern ein stark ausgeprägtes Fort- und Weiterbildungsinteresse attestiert, wobei nur wenige Beratungsfirmen spezielle Lern-Programme entwickelt haben.
