Baukonjunktur in Westeuropa : keine Erholung in Sicht : Ergebnisse der EUROCONSTRUCT-Konferenz am 10. Dezember 1993 in München

Abstract

Die EUROCONSTRUCT-Konferenz im Dezember 1993 kumulierte die einzelnen Bauproduktionen der Mitgliedsstaaten, die grob die EU und die skandinavischen Länder mit Österreich und der Schweiz umfaßt. Allgemein wurde festgestellt, daß die Bauproduktion weiter rückläufig ist, jedoch von den Wohnungsneubauten schwache Impulse ausgehen. Die Schwierigkeiten liegen im Wirtschaftsbau, im öffentlichen Hochbau und im Tiefbau, da einerseits Überkapazitäten geschaffen wurden, andererseits die Rezession die öffentlichen Haushalte zum Sparen anhält und Großaufträge bearbeitet und fertiggestellt wurden. So wird nach einem deutlichen Rückgang im Jahr 1993 von 3,1% für 1994 mit einem geringeren Rückgang (0,3%) gerechnet. In der speziellen Länderanalyse wird festgestellt, daß die Baurezession in Spanien zu Ende geht, Deutschland durch die Wiedervereinigung die Baurezession nicht spührte und vor allem die skandinavischen Länder in einer tiefen Baukrise stecken. Im Durchschnitt der EUROCONSTRUCT-Länder wurden 1992 je 1.000 Einwohner rund 4,8 Wohnungen fertiggestellt. Der Bericht wird durch eine Reihe von Tabellen und Graphiken unterstützt, um die Veränderungen zwischen 1990 und 1994 besser zu illustrieren.
