Entwicklungsperspektiven der deutschen Gießereiindustrie

Abstract

Die Untersuchung ergab, daß die gesamtdeutsche Gießereiindustrie bis zum Jahr 2005 mit einem Bedarf an Gußerzeugnissen von rund 2,5 bis 3,0 Mill. t rechnen kann. Im Vergleich zu 1991 bedeutet dies im günstigsten Fall eine Abnahme um gut ein Zehntel, während im ungünstigsten Fall ein Rückgang um knapp ein Viertel zu erwarten ist. Das Tempo des Rückgangs wird in beiden Teilen Deutschlands annähernd gleich sein, jedoch unterschiedliche Ursachen haben: Während in Westdeutschland vor allem der Straßenfahrzeugbau für den Rückgang verantwortlich ist, sind es in Ostdeutschland hauptsächlich die ungünstigen Zukunftsperspektiven des Maschinenbaus. Kapazitätsstillegungen und ein weiterer Personalabbau werden sich nicht vermeiden lassen.
