Quantitative Frühindikatoren für die betriebliche Absatzentwicklung

Abstract

Verläßliche und rasch vorliegende Informationen über den zu erwartenden Absatz sind in einer rezessiven Phase für die Unternehmen besonders wichtig. An zwei neueren empirischen Untersuchungen wird gezeigt, daß bei durchaus vertretbarem Zeitaufwand treffsichere quantitative Ansätze entwickelt werden können. Als wertvoll erweisen sich die umfangreichen Bestände an aktuellen Zeitreihen auch zu außenwirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen der ifo Datenbank und der rationelle Einsatz mathematischer Verfahren der ifo Methodenbank. Insbesondere erleichtert eine zweistufige ökonometrische Vorgehensweise die Vorausschätzung schwer erklärbarer unruhiger Auftragseingangsreihen.
