Abstract

1992 ist das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) um 1,7% gesunken. 1993 muß mit einem Rückgang um 1,5% gerechnet werden. Angesichts der weiteren Verschlechterung der Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt dürfte der reale private Verbrauch sogar um 4% schrumpfen. Erst für die Jahreswende 1993/94 ist eine ansatzweise, exportgetragene konjunkturelle Belebung zu erwarten. Das Jahr 1994 wird auch wirtschaftlich im Zeichen der Reichstagswahlen stehen. Das reale BIP dürfte mit einer zwischen 0 und 1% liegenden Rate expandieren. Die Arbeitslosigkeit wird jedoch weiter zunehmen und der private Verbrauch erneut zurückgehen.
