Erneute Konjunkturabschwächung in Westeuropa - aber Verbesserung des Weltwirtschaftsklimas

Abstract

Die Meldungen der Konjunkturteilnehmer deuten darauf hin, daß sich das Weltwirtschaftsklima im ersten Quartal 1993 etwas aufgehellt hat. Positive Impulse gehen vor allem von der US-Konjunktur aus. Die aktuelle Lage wurde im Durchschnitt der betrachteten Länder zwar nach wie vor als schlecht eingestuft, doch rechnete die Mehrzahl der Teilnehmer damit, daß sich die Weltkonjunktur innerhalb der nächsten sechs Monate erholen wird. Sogar in Westeuropa dominieren nun die positiven Erwartungen. Im Durchschnitt der 66 Länder wird für 1993 ein Wachstum des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts von 2% vorhergesagt. Am düstersten sind die Prognosen für Europa.
