Abstract

Der Bericht faßt die Ergebnisse einer Tagung der Arbeitsgruppe Rohstoffpreise der Vereinigung Europäischer Konjunkturforschungsinstitute zusammen. Die Arbeitsgruppe hat sich mit der Entwicklung der internationalen Rohstoffmärkte befaßt und Preisprognosen bis Ende 1994 erarbeitet. Unter der Annahme, daß das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt in den westlichen Industrieländern 1993 um 1,75% und 1994 um rund 2,5% wächst und der Dollarkurs im Prognosezeitraum tendenziell etwas steigt, wird das Preisniveau auf den internationalen Rohstoffmärkten 1993 um 5% nachgeben; für 1994 rechnet die Arbeitsgruppe mit einem Wiederanstieg um 4% .
