Investitionstätigkeit in den neuen Bundesländern unter dem Einfluß der Konjunkturabschwächung

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen der ifo Investorenrechnung dürften 1992 in den neuen Bundesländern insgesamt über 110 Mrd. DM investiert worden sein. Für 1993 zeichnen sich Investitionen von etwa 135 Mrd. DM ab. Eine überdurchschnittlich starke Expansion ist erneut im Sektor Wohnungsvermietung zu erwarten. Hier wurden auch die Ansätze gegenüber Mitte 1992 erheblich nach oben korrigiert, während im übrigen Unternehmensbereich, insbesondere im produzierenden Gewerbe, die Planungen deutlich nach unten revidiert wurden. Das Engagement westdeutscher Unternehmen, das 1993 knapp 50 Mrd. DM erreichen dürfte, nimmt zwar weiter zu, unter dem Eindruck der Konjunkturschwäche in den neuen Bundesländern wurden die ursprünglichen Pläne jedoch zurückgenommen.Nach den bisher vorliegenden Informationen werden die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Investitionen in Ostdeutschland 1994 eine Größenordnung von 150 Mrd. DM erreichen.
