Was halten Unternehmen vom Solidarpakt?

Abstract

Rund 500 Manager aus der Industrie, der Bauwirtschaft und dem Handel Westdeutschlands wurden nach ihrer Meinung zum Solidarpakt gefragt. Weniger als die Hälfte der Interviewten war der Ansicht, daß der Solidarpakt in der jetzigen Form die Glaubwürdigkeit der Wirtschafts- und Finanzpolitik erhöht. Rund zwei Drittel erwarteten sich von den Maßnahmen eine Belebung der Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern, während mit konjunkturstimulierenden Wirkungen in Westdeutschland allenfalls auf mittlere Sicht gerechnet wird. 72% der befragten Manager vertraten die Meinung, daß die beschlossenen Subventionskürzungen nicht ausreichen, und fast ebenso viele plädierten für eine (weitere) Verschärfung der Zumutbarkeitsregelung bei Arbeitslosigkeit. Daneben wurde auch gefordert, die Selbstständigen und Beamten stärker einzubeziehen, generell das soziale Netz zu überdenken, die Privatisierung öffentlicher Unternehmen voranzutreiben, vor allem aber solle man möglichst bald von der Diskussions- in die Konkretisierungsphase übergehen.
