Westdeutsche Industrieunternehmen erwarten die konjunkturelle Wende jetzt erst Ende 1993

Abstract

Entgegen der Einschätzung der westdeutschen Industrieunternehmen vom Sommer 1992 verlangsamte sich in den meisten Branchen die konjunkturelle Talfahrt nicht, sondern verstärkte sich gegen Ende 1992. Die Industrieproduktion sinkt nach der aktuellen Beurteilung der Unternehmen auch 1993 weiter, der Rückgang schwächt sich jedoch im Jahresverlauf ab. Die Talsohle der westdeutschen Industrieproduktion dürfte nach den im Januar dieses Jahres graphoskopisch erfaßten Einschätzungen der Teilnehmer erst zum Jahresende 1993 erreicht werden. Bei Umrechnung auf Jahresveränderungsraten ergibt sich nach dem kräftigen Konjunkturabschwung im zweiten Halbjahr 1992 für das laufende Jahr für die westdeutsche Industrieproduktion ein Minus von etwa 4%. Obwohl die Teilnehmerfirmen eine im Verlauf des Jahres 1994 deutlich zunehmende Produktion erwarten, ergibt sich wegen des Basiseffekts im Jahresvergleich nur ein Anstieg von gut 1%.
