Industrie : Kapazitäten werden zunehmend zu groß

Abstract

Die Betriebe des westdeutschen verarbeitenden Gewerbes (ohne Nahrungs- und Genußmittel) nutzten im Dezember ihre Anlagen durchschnittlich zu 80,4%; im September hatte der Auslastungsgrad noch 83,1% betragen. Bei anhaltendem Produktionsrückgang und abgeschwächter Nachfrage blieben die Auftragsbestände in diesem Zeitraum unverändert bei 2,6 Produktionsmonaten. In den kommenden Monaten werden die kontraktiven Kräfte, nach Meinung der Teilnehmer, anhalten,wenn die Erwartungen auch weniger pessimistisch waren als im November. Entsprechend soll die Fertigung weiter eingeschränkt werden, was eine nochmalige Senkung der Kapazitätsauslastung bedeuten würde. Verstärkt hat sich auch die Befürchtung, innerhalb des laufenden Jahres die vorhandenen Kapazitäten nicht zufriedenstellend nutzen zu können.
