Reformen in der CSFR - Stand und Perspektiven vor und nach der Spaltung

Abstract

Seit 25. November 1992 steht nun endgültig fest, daß sich die CSFR in zwei souveräne Staaten aufspalten wird. Damit entstehen ab 01. Januar 1993 eine marktwirtschaftlichen Reformen zugewandte Tschechische Republik mit rund 10 Mill. Einwohnern, deren Wirtschaftspotential als beträchtlich eingestuft wird und in die 80% der Auslandsinvestitionen für die jetzige CSFR, die sich durch ihre Nähe zum Westmarkt und billigen Löhnen auszeichnet, und daneben eine ärmere und staatsinterventionistisch orientierte Slowakische Republik mit 5 Mill. Einwohnern, davon eine Minderheit von rund 600000 Ungarn, die sich bisher entschieden für den Fortbestand der Föderation eingesetzt haben. Generell hatte die Ankündigung der Teilung der CSFR negative Auswirkungen auf die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, wobei die Slowakei gegenüber dem tschechischen Landesteil über weit ungünstigere Ausgangsbedingungen verfügt. Aufgrund der starken wirtschaftlichen Verflechtung ist allerdings davon auszugehen, daß durch die Trennung beiden Landesteilen Nachteile erwachsen.
