Hohe Investitionsdynamik in den neuen Bundesländern : erste Ergebnisse der ifo Investorenrechnung

Abstract

Die ifo Investorenrechnung Ost basiert zwar zu einem relativ großen Teil noch auf Schätzungen, sie erlaubt jedoch einen ersten Einblick in die sektorale Struktur der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Investitionen der neuen Bundesländer, die sich 1991 auf knapp 83 Mrd. DM beliefen. Im laufenden Jahr dürften nach den bekannt gewordenen Plänen rund 110 Mrd. DM investiert werden; für 1993 ist mit Gesamtinvestitionen von etwa 135 Mrd. DM zu rechnen. Die Investitionsquote dürfte damit - gemessen am ostdeutschen Bruttosozialprodukt - auch in diesem und im nächsten Jahr jeweils über 40% erreichen. Für den weiteren Anpassungsprozeß der ostdeutschen Wirtschaft muß das gegenwärtige Investitionstempo beibehalten werden. Die Arbeitsmarktprobleme werden allerdings auch bei expansiver Investitions- und Produktionsentwicklung mittel- und längerfristig groß bleiben.
