Ungeahnte Investitionsdynamik im Großhandel

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests hat der Großhandel 1990 in Westdeutschland rund 13 Mrd. DM für Investitionen ausgegeben; das waren 14,2% mehr als 1989 (real: +11%). Die Investitionsquote erhöhte sich von 1,3 auf 1,4%; dabei sind die von den Großhandelsunternehmen nicht selbstbilanzierten Anlagenzugänge nicht berücksichtigt. 1991 dürfte der westdeutsche Großhandel seinen Umsatz mit etwa 9% erneut kräftig steigern. Die Investitionspläne deuten allerdings auf ein geradezu sensationelles Wachstum hin: Mit 28% (real 23%) soll sich der Investitionszuwachs gegenüber 1990 verdoppeln. Das würde Ausgaben von 16,6 Mrd. DM bzw. einer Investitionsquote von 1,6% entsprechen. Noch stärker als die selbstbilanzierten Anlagenzugänge sollen die Leasinginvestitionen zunehmen. Wie eine Sonderfrage zeigte, führen die Großhandelsunternehmen zusätzlich beträchtliche Investitionsvorhaben in den neuen Bundesländern durch.
