Abstract

Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) dürfte in der Schweiz um 2,5 % expandiert haben, die ausgeprägte konjunkturelle Überhitzung ist abgeklungen. In der Wirtschaftspolitik war im vergangenen Jahr ein restriktiver Kurs gesteuert worden, 1991 soll eine expansive Linie verfolgt werden, die man 1992 fortsetzen dürfte. Die Geldpolitik war wechselkursorientiert und restriktiv, für 1991 wurde kein Geldmengenziel publiziert. Die Finanzpolitik wirkte 1990 expansiv. 1991 wird das reale BIP um 1,5 % zunehmen, die wirtschaftliche Lage der Schweiz bleibt günstig. 1992 expandiert das reale BIP um 2 bis 2,5%. Die Beschäftigung mit und die Vorbereitung auf den EG-Binnenmarkt 1993 werden vorangetrieben. Im Durchschnitt der ersten drei Quartale 1990 lag die industrielle Erzeugung saisonbereinigt um 3,3 % über dem Volumen der vorjährigen Referenzperiode. Im Warenhandel wurde im Durchschnitt der ersten 10 Monate 1990 nominal um 5,4 % mehr umgesetzt, die Verbraucherpreise stiegen ebenfalls um 5,4 %. In den Zahlen der Handelsbilanz spiegeln sich die sehr unterschiedlichen Konjunkturverhältnisse in den großen Abnehmerregionen wider.
